Aer Lingus 5th June Cancelled

Just got the anticipated email from Aer Lingus stating that our 5th June flights from Dublin are cancelled and hence I’ve applied for our refunds. Even thought it was expected it was still disappointing to get it - makes it very final...

Still time to reset and plan for 2022...

Sorry you couldn't get going. Really disappointed for you. Everything is a gamble currently. We are due to fly August 28th with Aer Lingus from Dublin (we're from the North) and we've everything booked for the trip even the individual days reserved in the parks. We're just going to have to wait it out and see what happens.

I hope you get to go - surely things in August will be moving. We are now looking at next June and hopefully flying Virgin From Belfast but can’t find out if this route is planned to be running next year...

We flew virgin from Belfast in 2019
It was a great route so hope they continue it when things open up

No announement has been made from Virgin about either Belfast or Glasgow yet so it is a case of watch and wait.

We have just moved holiday and rebooked for 10th July 22, Belfast to Orlando - all the girl could tell me was that currently the seasonal schedule is running on a few dates in 2022. Did not check what dates as son will be doing exams next year and July would be best for us.

It will be hopefully 3rd time lucky as original trip was booked for 2020!

We were rearranging a Virgin Holiday package, not flight only.

For once in all 15 trips had booked a package as staying in multiple hotels on this trip !

11 month point for our outbound flight is 27 Aug 2021, so we will see then if VA flight appears to be going... from Belfast!

I am sure there will be a demand for the seasonal summer flights in 2022.
