Aer Lingus Refunds

Hi - after getting my email at the weekend to say my Aer Lingus flights for June were cancelled I asked for a refund. Does anyone have experience with a refund from Aer Lingus and how long it took?
Hoping to have the money back in time to book new flights for next year in July...

I got a refund a month or two ago, it only took around 3 days to go into my account. The cancellation was done over the phone rather than online.

They are v good on Twitter if you wanted to ask them directly. Took 8 weeks for me last year but that was during the madness.

We found it quicker to ring for refund than the online form. Think it was about 3 weeks ish.

I phoned as one of my flights changed by nearly 6 hours. Got the refund in 3 days. Rebooked �652 less than I'd originally paid to come home direct to Manchester. This was about 6 weeks ago.

They cancelled our April flights just before Christmas and we waited over 6 weeks for the refund
