Alamo virgin car hire

Anyone able to advise how to get over 21 days with Virgin? I need 24 days and there are 6 of us so immediately into higher costs which I'm trying to keep down.

Heaven forbid I actually have to phone and speak to someone lol.

I had to ring them up to find out what is going on. There is a known fault on their website and for the longer rentals sadly you have to ring them up. They will rent for longer than 21 days as I got them to quote me for 28 days Aug/Sept 18 albeit the price was higher than Brits in the end.

The other option is to live chat them on VH and get them to ring you, saves money on the phone call.

A month ago when I started pricing up a 7 seater for 21 days VH were coming in cheapest - including a 4% discount I get through work. This morning Alamo Brits are better - £200 cheaper than VH even though VH are cheaper still than they were a month ago.
One thing Alamo Brits ask is that you produce a copy of the Brits Guide when picking up the car. I guess I need to go and buy one of these now.

Still expensive for me, no one has ever been asked for a copy of the book. It’s been posted on here many times 👍👍

As above, never been asked for. However it is a very good read I must say.

Bear in mind there are literally dozens of discount codes floating around. I have 3 but there are also airport employee ones, travel agency ones, Disney ones etc etc. They really don't care what you have and they don't check.

I have just booked for 22 days - booked for 21 via the website and then live chatted. The advisor amended my booking and quoted for the extra day. Just received my confirmation for the 22 days. 👍
