I told my kids that you always stop when you see red-blinking, full light, stop sign. You need to come to a complete stop and yield to the other cars. Like Mick said-not rolling-stop.
After people rolling right through red my next big peeve is people who see a blinking red as an excuse not to stop-you still need to stop. Remember it is safer to stop for a few extra seconds than to roll through. |

My thoughts to add would be
- take a copy of map mans map with you- the sat nav in the cars can try to take you down service roads and there was a lot of roadworks when we went so the map was a godsend whilst we found our way around - at a four way junction with no lights who ever gets there first had right of way ( took weeks to sort this one out lol) - for our first time we paid for the toll sun pass thing so we could just drive right through with no worries - our car always started each day with a chant of right hand side of the road for the first few turns Have fun Edited at 12:39 AM. |
