Hi,
Does anyone know of anyone who rents sat navs and ships to Ireland ? Last trip we rented off discountfloridacarhore.co.uk, but they no longer ship to Ireland unfortunately. Was a great service..

There is Satnav hire on eBay but not sure about shipping to Ireland

you can buy used sat navs on ebay, go for abt �45.00 usually, if there up to date or recent, or you can upgrade the maps for a cost, at oleast you have one for future or you could sell it when you get back.

If you're going to be making more trips to the USA in the future I think buying one with lifetime maps is a good idea. I bought one last year for $79 in Best Buy. You could always sell it on when you come home.

I have an American Sat Nav and went kayaking in December and the Sat Nav didn't take me to the door and we couldn't find the place , a member of our party had google maps on his phone that you can download before travelling to save your data usage and it was spot on
