Flying into Tampa is a good choice for stress-free immigration! Sure, it's about a 90min drive (tops) to the Disney Area... but you can easily spend 90mins in an immigration queue at MCO (or worse still, get held on your plane for an hour before being allowed off to join to 90min queue in the immigration hall).

We've booked him the Tampa flight. When we looked at the dates we realised we would be off property and in the villa at the end of the US 27, ideally situated for Tampa.
We've decided to all take eldest DS to the airport and make a day of it. What is there to do in Tampa? - our youngest DS is 12.

You have Busch Garden near by, or spend an afternoon at Clearwater beach, or you pass Clearwater Aquarium on the way to the beach where Winter the Dolphin is. Or there is another Aquarium in Tampa.

Lots of things to do.

Have a good day
