Car hire questions.
Hi
So we are hiring a car for our upcoming holiday. Quick question do we need extra insurance. The car comes with the damage wavier and third party. If i do where should I buy this, at the airport ? Or online? Also from Orlando international who is the best company to go with. Quite nervous. But think it'll be a different holiday if we drive. Been 4 times before and never driven |

If you book through a reputable UK broker such as Virgin Atlantic, DFCH, usrentacar or Netflights they should include all the insurances you need. As it would if you book through Alamo Brits as well. DFCH gets a lot of support on here (including me) as Andy is a regular and helpful Dibber.
You must have CDW and $1m SLI (third party). Don't even consider offers of the state minimum SLI of $20k. That's a route to bankruptcy if you injure someone. Don't upgrade car or insurance at the airport. Could cost a fortune. In my opinion Alamo are best as they allow you to skip the counter in the terminal and choose your own car at MCO, MIA and TPA.
