The prices are here - virginholidays/tra...-world-tickets
Maybe they got confused and think you want 1 extra 21day ticket?! I don’t know but they are as bad as Disney for giving different info depending on who/when you talk to! |

19:14:07 [Hello. Thank you for using the Virgin Holidays Click to Chat Service. How may I help you?
19:14:46 Hi, I am just wondering if you could price to upgrade me from 14 day tickets to 21 day tickets please? 19:16:03 Hi , I can definitely take a look for you 19:19:07 Thank you 19:19:12 Bear with me just a moment please 19:21:51 It would be an additional £480 19:23:23 Can you explain to me how this price is worked out... On Disney the price difference is £21 pound per person... And on the Virgin website it is £21 for adults and £19 for children so why is it so expensive ? Thanks 19:25:25 The prices online are just 'from' prices and therefore when we quote we provide a live price So this is the online chat I just had with Virgin lol

But it doesn’t say from online!
Oh hang on just seen the small print below saying “Prices featured are correct as of 01 Aug '18, are valid per person and are subject to change.“ That price to upgrade is ridiculous. No where else has it that high. I’m genuinely really annoyed on your behalf! |

Me too lol...I am emailing the complaints department... surely I am not a one off this must be happening to all Virgin Disney customers...at least I am aware of it I bet there are many people who just don't question it... but if I don't get anywhere I will just have to stick with the 14 day ticket.

Oops I have just done a dummy booking and see why there may be a difference
These are the tickets it generates on a booking : Disney's 14 For 7 Ultimate Ticket + Memory Maker. £1906.50 (Included In Total Price) The price of tickets the advertise are as follows Park days Valid for Adult Price Child Price Total 7 14 £393 £374 £1927 14 14 £452 £432 £2220 21 21 £473 £451 £2321 Okay so I have worked out that because apparently they have given me 14 day for the price of 7 ticket that there will be a greater difference in prices but according to these prices on the virgin website the difference between the 7 day ticket they charge for and 21 day ticket they are charging £415...but that still isn't the £480 they are trying to charge. Also compared to Disney who charge £2155 the mark up is still £231 more expensive.. Still half of an humble pie eaten lol Not sure why they didn't just explain to me the reason behind the massive increase...however I still think that charging £231 more than Disney is a bit OTT.
