Alamo at Sanford

I'm considering flights into Sanford airport but wonder what impact this might have on availability of car hire companies and vehicles.

Do Alamo have a presence on Sanford and if so do they offer the online skip the queue option? I know at Orlando International they are quite flexible about which car you pick out at the garage - is it the same for Sanford if applicable?

If there is limited choice at Sanford I seem to recall there are hire firms who deliver to the villa. Any DIBBERS with experience of those, positive or negative?

Hi,
Alamo are situated in Sanford but the location does not offer Skip the Line.
Also present within the airport are Hertz and Dollar.

We only go to Sanford & always use Alamo and I can honestly say I have never ever been in a queue there! DH waits outside with luggage I go in hand over my paperwork come out and go pick a car n drive out - thats it. Love Sanford airport.

Picked up a car from Alamo Stanford last time we went.
No problems at all. There was a little walk over to get to it, i believe it is the furthest away. Didnt queue for long, plenty of people serving. Plenty of choice car wise. Got upgraded for free (although there was a not so subtle hint for a small tip

)
Overall positive experience.

Alamo are probably the biggest operator at Sanford. I have used them several times without any problems. You cannot do STC but you can do online check in which I have found cuts down the time at the desk, although there never seems to be much of a queue and you can pick your own car from the line.
