Always check the fare code you are booked under. The wife and I were booked under a Z code last time, DD was supposed to be in economy with her friend. Her friend decided not to come so I booked DD into upper a couple of days later. Randomly checking the fare code, she had a D code fare so I could book the limo - saved us £50 return in a taxi...

If further than 75 miles away you can also pay extra for the mile difference (not cheap though).
One business trip I did to New York for work they allowed us to pool miles so for a group of 3 of us they collected from 3 different addresses in Sheffield area and drove us to Heathrow 👍🏻 Another trip I had chauffeur to Manchester and got their Little Red flight down to connect in London (cheaper than upgrading the 75 miles). |
