Food near Art of Animation
Hi,
I’m booking restaurants for our stay and wondered if anyone could recommend somewhere to eat on our first night at Disney. We’re staying at Art of Animation so somewhere near there would be good. We have a dining plan. Thank you in advance from a complete newbie! |

If it is your first night as in the night you arrive, I would just go to the food court at the resort. It is quick service but the food is pretty decent. You may be too tired to trudge somewhere else and have a full service meal.

Both AoA and Pop Century (which you can walk to) have extensive options. You don’t need to go far for decent food.

Ditto staying at the food court if first night and no other plans. There will be jetlag so at least you can grab a quick bite and head to bed (and wake up early the next day for rope drop!).
AoA and Pop food courts are both very good.

We stayed at AoA last year. The food is very good and there's lots of choice. Staff were always happy to help with what you can get included in dining plan. On the first night we were all so tired we couldn't possibly have left the hotel to eat. We all had pasta and even then my brain was so addled I could barely order!
If you all want different things we found the best approach was to sit the kids at a table then queue separately for items and meet a up at the till point. You'll love it there! |
