Rumour Hoop De Do to close. Update: False rumour

Just a rumour I read on twitter but rumour is Hoop De Do review will possibly close sometime next year. Apparently this is all to do with a possible new expansion of the area around there by the abandoned River Country which is rumoured to a new hotel. The story says bookings can still be made until February so no exact date is known for this.

They are likely building the next DVC on the old River Country site. This was planned years ago, then abandoned.
I'd be surprised if they closed this though, it's popular as I understand it and very busy. Maybe it will be a temporary closure? Who knows?

Have fond memories of river country. Kids lived it there back in the 90s

I saw this on the dis. We're planning on going next summer so if they do close I hope it's only temporary.

Update: Just read that Disney have said they have no plans to close. Good news for fans of this and anyone who was thinking if going.

DIS has apologised for publishing the article and removed it.
