They haven’t scrapped Extra Evening Hours, these events are separate. They are also different - the number of guests is much, much more limited for After Hours - all the estimates I’vd seen are in the region of 5000 people maximum.

I’d love to do an Adter Hours event personally as I think it sounds like a great way of doing the headliners without long waits or stressing about FPS. I think the best value is if you’re not “doing Disney” and therefore haven’t already shelled out for park tickets. However I also think it can work out well for offsite guests - if you feel staying onsite is too expensive but dislike the fact that it makes getting FOs for rides like FOP and SDD very difficult, then this could actually work out a cheaper alternative overall.

we have done AH for MK and we are doing it in Feb, it is worth it, if you don't have day tickets. May consider the HS one

Stupid questions but never come across this before.
How do you go about booking the extra evening hour tickets and how far ahead are they available.
What is included and how many extra hours do you get ?
What is the easiest way to see what dates are available for each park and how far ahead can you see ? Thanks

Anyone know if you can book fastpasses for the hours you’re allowed in before after hours starts? Pretty sure my daughter could do this before MVMCP last year.

I will definitely do the three next year and maybe get a 3 day park ticket for Epcot over 2 days and an extra MK day. This really suits us as don’t do well with big crowds and not fussed about parades,

we could when we did MK AH 2 years ago, then we were allowed in at 3pm, I believe this has now changed and it is reported you can gain access from 6pm

Dates I’d be looking at After Hours would finish at 1.00am. Will any Disney transportation be running so late?

Well, although it might not have anything to do with these paid After Hours events, from now on there are no Extra Evening Hours listed at either HS nor AK. The 4th November was the last time HS had EEH and currently there are none listed for any dates in 2019.

So, yeah, Extra Evening Hours at AK and HS seem to have been scrapped.

Considering this for HS at Xmas but if the park closes at 8 does the event actually start at 8 and will there still be day visitors in the queues and in the park? Just concerned about how busy it will actually be. Does anyone know for definite the number of tickets they allow? I've seen it mentioned on here 5000 and that still seems high as I suspect it'll be sold out the Saturday before Xmas.
