Lantern photos

Personally I don't think that is on. It's fine to faff around like that when there is no queue but when there is I think it should be restricted/discouraged.

The only exception being if they are all having individual photos taken.

We all want our special lantern photos, I don't think it's fair to restrict you to only X amount of photos. What if that really is your "once in a lifetime" visit? As long as you aren't taking 15+ minutes, I think we can all have a little patience and let them get the photos they want.

what is the earliest time you can get the lantern photos? definetly want to do it on this trip as we didnt know about it last time and the girls will love it and myself too lol

Google 'Lantern photos Magic Kingdom ' and you will see it is Photopass photographers taking shots of guests holding and in front of the lit lanterns in the tangled area of MK (near the toilets).
Obviously from the scene in the Tangled film.

Very popular photo to have done and actually ( maybe because of the low light conditions ) quite flattering!
I know I actually liked mine ... which is a rarity !

We went at mvmcp, just after midnight and there were 5 families in front of us, it was around 10 minutes. We did it on a whim when we walked past, as everyone was ready for leaving, but glad we did as it’s one of our favourite photos, the only problem being is DD was asleep in the pushchair so isn’t in the photo.

We got ours just before fireworks queue wasn’t so bad as people were getting their fireworks spot.
It had been raining however so they moved it to the covered area where Peter Pan meets opposite where the toilets are.
Picture was still nice but could see people walking in the background so something to note if you do get rain.
It was the only night we could do it so it had to do!

We got ours late on a MNSSHP & very short queue. Can't have been more than 10minutes.
