Minnie Vans

I am wondering how the Minnie Vans are working out?
I notice that there is no flat rate anymore which suggests much higher rates but out of interest, can anyone tell me how much the current rate is between Epcot and AKL, Hollywood Studios and AKL... and Disney Springs and AKL... and also whether Minnie Vans are recommended for those trips back to the hotel when tiredness and alcohol have taken their toll and driving is not an option.

I’m by the pool at SSR and I can see their parking area and it’s nearly empty.
Can’t help ref costs but they are all over the place with and without passengers thus doing well I think

you order the Minnie Vans through Lyft, and you pay a premium for a Minnie Van - you could just order a normal Lyft for the same journey and pay significantly less . Uber and Lyft are usually pretty similar in their prices, and uberestimate gives a price of around $10 for a journey between Epcot and AKL.

If you download the lyft app and turn location services off you can't put your destinations in and will give you how much is would be. We have just returned and used Minnie vans a few times as we needed a car seat (sometimes the Ubercar seats were not great so ordered minnie van) we stayed at riverside and the cost to go anywhere was around $19 to $25. We did pay $30 to get to magic kingdom one night but $25 was the main average think we took about 7. As the buses were always so.busy and standing with pushchair and baby not ideal. There was juat one night we could not get a minnie van from magic kingdom it was MNSSHP and 9pm . We tried for 20 minutes and a driver couldn't be found. So got the bus as turned up then. The cars were clean and spacious and the car seats were really good

Thanks BellaBess, I'll see how it all pans out over the next 12 months. We are not travelling until the end of next year so I'm only dipping my toes in the water at this point. Many thanks for your input. x

Yes they can albeit they have adapted vehicles for that purpose. Bigger than a Ford Transit.

They were already expensive, then they increased the price by $5. Then guess what, it’s now gone up massively based on distance. Guess what, Disney don’t publish price per mile! $15 charge before you even get in ! Avoid, and use Uber or Lyft instead which can be about a third the price.
Here are some examples, you are paying about $35 for a 5 mile trip. Same would probably cost around $10 in an Uber
