BA Food
Feeling impressed. Received an email today to order our meal for our flight to Orlando, have chosen fillet steak! First time we’ve been able to choose our food before we fly. Feeling optimistic that we will actually get a meal that we like this year! Have often thought that it would be better to book your meals before you go there would be less disappointed people on the flight?🤞🤞🤞🤞🙂

That's interesting, I agree it makes sense to choose in advance, and fillet steak might actually be nice. What class are you flying?

We are travelling World traveller plus going & coming back Club World. Spoiling ourselves & our first time with BA. The price was cheaper than Virgin PE both ways.

BA do let you preorder 30 days in advance for your outbound leg in some classes and on some routes, I’m having chicken curry when we go this week and my husband has gone for the steak.
I will say you sometimes have to let the cabin crew know that you preordered, I’m not sure how the info is supposed to get passed to them but in my experience they don’t always know. It was more of an issue in the early days though. |

We don't usually book our plane meals in advance, but I prebooked our meals for our BA flight on Sunday. We also ordered the steak so it looks a popular choice. Mind you we will still buy sandwiches from boots for the flight as we very rarely enjoy plane food.
