What are the rules on swapping dining credits?

Hi all, we’re here just now and have 2 full days to go until we fly home. However we’ve still got lots of QS credits left - 19 to be exact.

We’re a party of 4 and have only 3 meals left either not already paid OOP or accounted for by our table service credits.

There’s also 12 snack credits left too which will go towards bags of sweets for presents probably. But I’m sure I’d heard it’s possible to swap some credits also - can anyone tell me what the rules on this are please? If we can swap some of those 19 QS credits for something else, it’d be a great help.

If you want to buy more chocolate or snacks as presents ghiradelli will take 1qs as 3 snacks 😀

Many places take 1 qs for 3 snacks. We changed ours this way at Goofy’s Candy Store in Disney Springs and at our resort shop at POFQ. We were told that it wasn’t possible at MouseGear in Epcot, so just used snack credits there. We also found what was offered as a snack credit varied at different places. We bought 3 big bars of chocolate at our resort for one qs credit, the same bars were not snack credits at MouseGear. But it’s easy to work out which are sc by the purple symbol alongside it.

you can swap 1 qs credit for 3 snacks at a lot of places as long as you do it in 1 transaction.

I would be tempted to spend a few on drinks in starbucks before you come home and maybe pick up some earl of sandwich sandwiches for on the plane too as with the amount of credits you have left your going to have masses of treats to try and fit in your luggage

You could always treat a family in the queue. You would make their day and it would be a nice thing to do for someone ( especially if you haven’t much room left in your cases)

We had loads left too, last week. We pixie dusted a family to breakfast at BC, and another family to snacks at Fantasia Gardens - we've still brought lots home for stocking stuffers etc.

We somehow always have plenty left

We did the same. Treated a family to a round of dole whips ag the Poly on our going home day. Took ages to get rid of them as everyone in the queue was on the dining plan initially! the family we chose were really chuffed! it made there - and our day!
