So today we rode the new star wars ride, twice infact! First time and engineers and second as pilot Must say as a non star wars fan being the engineer was pretty boring, but being a pilot was amazing. Anyone wanting to do this ask to be a pilot you wont regret it. And on a plus side we only waited about 20 mins each time!

When DD and I went in early September we had a 40 minute wait and we were the worst pilots in the Galaxy ha ha. Had a really fun time. Would recommend it.

We got on in about ten minutes last month via the single rider line. There were three single riders on our ride so me and DH were together. He was engineer, I was a gunner. Our pilots were rubbish, we just bumped along the floor crashing into things, as far as I know anyway, because I was too busy pressing buttons. I am glad we did it but I didn’t rate it at all, I wouldn’t even bother going on it again unless it was a walk on. I enjoy Star Tours more!

If you watch ordinary adventures on YouTube they did an all hands off flight to see what happened if no one at all touched any of the controls. Underwhelming as still fired lasers and jumped to hyper space by itself. Mission space 2.

We did it 5 times in September our fave position was Gunners (did 3 times) - had one group where the two young daughters were Pilots and spent all the time videoing themselves or each other! The Father spent his time videoing the son! Luckily the other 4 times we had great people on with us.
I loved it and far preferred it to Pandora. Never took more than 30 mins from entering to getting on.

But if you DO interact with the controls they respond to you. I've even heard Hondo berating particularly bad pilots over the intercom

I was a gunner and loved it, we were a party of 5 so had the Millenium Falcon to ourselves! My Son and Hubby were both Pilots and were not about to five up that position, but I had a fantastic time shooting everything!
