It all depends how much Norwegian loses over the quiet winter months. They could still run out of money.
They aren't planning to code share.. no idea where you got this from?

They're wanting to create an interline agreement, this will allow easier travel between the US and Europe meaning passengers for JetBlue can transfer from domestic to international flights quicker etc..

JetBlue expansion no doubt in the works for the future, once the aircraft issues are sorted and they are compensated by the manufacturer some of their financial issues will be tidied up

Norwegian have a shed load of landing/ take off slots around Europe that make them very attractive for a bit.
BA Lufthansa made an attempt to buy them however debt is an issue.
They are cutting back lots of long haul routes and appear to be going back to core buisness.
Low cost European travel maybe mixed with a smaller long haul buisness.
Personally I think they will survive but painful times ahead.

While this is great advice, the only issue is if they do a Thomas Cook close to departure it may mean a big bill to get new flights or finding there are no flights at all.

Personally I would chance them up until next summer, after this I would be more worried they won't last unless there is a new finance deal in place.

One thing I will say about Norwegian is everyone has constantly been saying they will go pop... and they haven't!

Notice I did say etc after code share... Still interlining costs a lot of money hence why low cost airlines don't do it and I'm not sure Norwegian could afford it without putting up its fares or lose even more money in the short to medium term.

Thanks for the advice, think I'll just steer clear but don't like the BA prices coming out for Sept-Oct!

I fear you are unnecessarily going to pay more than you need to. Airlines can go pop at any point. BA are in a utter mess (although I do doubt they are going under any time soon - but I also doubt this of Norwegian given the injection of cash).

Key is insurance and credit card payment.

Anyway good luck with whatever you decide is best.
