Day 10 Seaworld The Bacon's Go Back - Orlando Trip with no Disney May 2015

Day 10, Monday 25th May 2015

We had a lazy morning this morning, just mooching about, watching TV, going on the tablets / phones. We were all ready and out by 9.50am and decided on Denny’s for breakfast. No one shared today, so we must be getting used to the big portions!

We were then at Seaworld by about 11.30am – it took us about an hour to get there today for some reason the traffic was really bad going into Aquatica, which impacted us. Seaworld also looked busy so we go the Quick Queue at $19 each. Jamie wanted to do Kraken first, but it was shut as there was a storm approaching. We hung around for a bit and when it didn’t seem like it was clearing, decided to do the Antartica Penguin ride. The normal queue was 75 minutes – it seemed like everyone in the park wanted to get on. The quick queue took just 10 mins. We went for the wild experience and all enjoyed it. It was good fun and the penguins after were super cute! We messed around taking selfies:

Next we headed to the 2pm Shamu show. I was touched by the tribute to the military. The show was OK-ish. After the show we had a wander around the Wild Artic – there were no beluga whales but lots of walruses.

Next up we had some sundaes:

Jamie and Mike then went on Kraken – twice! Whilst me and Jack went to the Shamu Harbour playground.

Next up was Journey to Atlantis – this was great and we bypassed the 65 minute standby queue. Jamie didn’t want to go though so he sat this one out. We didn’t get too wet either!

Turtle Trek was up next and then Jamie and Mike went on Manta whilst me and Jack had a look in the aquarium near to it.

Last ride of the day was the Watch Tower, the views are amazing from up there!

We left at 6.30pm. We’d planned on just spending a couple of hours there, but stayed longer as we managed to get a fair bit done.
We went to Longhorns for dinner and I had a cocktail by 6.55pm! The food was delicious and massive portions. The boys ribs were particularly massive.

We had a quick stop off at Walmart to get some water and M&Ms to take back for our work friends and then we were back at the hotel for 9pm.

The boys went to sleep at about 9.45pm, me and Mike packed and tidied the hotel room a bit. We were off for our second holiday in a holiday tomorrow with a trip to Clearwater and Busch Gardens planned.
