Question What can I do for a WDW birthday?

Hi All, I've never posted before but I need your advise.
My DH and I are heading WDW this year and while there my DH is celebrating a big birthday. My problem is I am stuck on what I can do to celebrate.
He's already planning what park and restaurants he wants to go to, and I know about the birthday pins etc in the parks. I've looked at the "in room celebrations" but they are so expensive.

Because its a special birthday I really want to mark the occasion and get a few surprises throughout the day.
Can anyone recommend anything (No idea is too small)
Thanks

How about seeing if there’s a sporting event nearby?

The private boats that sit infront of MK so you can view the fireworks was really lovely. They pipe in the music so you are not missing out on anything. They tour around the lakes and go past the old River Country, it was quite interesting, then finish off with the fireworks.
Have always like the afternoon Tea at the GF as well for a special occasion.

Just a few possible ideas:
- Do one of the tours - Keys to the Kingdom, DestiNations, etc
- Have a special meal - thinking of something like California Grill brunch, or even Victoria & Albert's
- Get a Disney cake from Amorette's
- Buy some balloons?
- Think you could potentially get customised sketches from the artists in Disney Springs and in Epcot/MK

Exactly what I was thinking, balloons (some amazing ones in the parks) or a behind the scenes tour. Otherwise, what could be more special than being in Disney on your Birthday. I dont think you really need to think any bigger.

I tried this, but didnt do it soon enough and was told they were frozen and wouldnt defrost in time. As we were staying in PORS we were told that they always had left over slices in the QS. Worked out far cheaper and had a slice most nights.

I’ll be celebrating my birthday during our holiday in may. I have booked garden grill for breakfast, spending the morning at Epcot, the yachtsman steakhouse for dinner and extra magic evening hours at MK. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would be celebrating my birthday at WDW with my husband and beautiful kids! Couldn’t ask for more and couldn’t be happier! x
