Changing photo background to white.

I have literally spent all day trying to change a passport photo background to white. I dont really want to pay for a service but wondered if anyone knows any free apps/sites that would work.

Be careful. The photo can be rejected if it has been digitally altered. Can you not take your passport photo against a light coloured back ground?

DD did the same recently: spent ages, but up close it still looked digitally enhanced. Reluctantly, she gave up, as she didn't want to chance having the application rejected, went to the photo booth at our big Sainsbury and paid the £8. You get 4 ppt photos as a print out plus a code that you input on the online ppt application, it will then upload the photo automatically.

Worth the 8 quid to avoid worrying. 😊

We took ours against a white background on our phones. It then kept rejecting MIL’s picture against the same wall, but it was because we were using her iPad to take it. It worked once we took it on the phone again.

Easy to change on procreate app or photoshop but as above whether it will pass the standards of the passport agency is anyone’s guess as they report they don’t accept digitally changed photos?
