Laptop Tech Query

Hi - no idea where to even start so thought there may be a Dibb tech person who may be able to help please.

Heavily into holiday planning at the moment so do lots of searches. Today was so different when trying to find info on a Citypass for Seattle. Easy you may think

Type in City pass Seattle and lots of info comes up - yes.
Click on a link and it opens as msn.com/en-gb/?pfr=1

I have tried the usual switch off and switch on solution but it doesnt work.

Has anyone got any solutions please? I cant even search for a solution and just so happened to have TheDibb saved as a favourite.

It sounds like this virus. I’m not familiar with the softwares they suggest so I’d start by running malware bytes. malwarebytes/mwb-download

And allowing it to remove anything it finds.

Thank you so much for your help.

I have completed both things you have suggested and restarted laptop after each with fingers crossed - but unfortunately they haven't solved the issue. On the plus side Spyhunter 5 (the free version) did find 29 items that were quarantined and then destroyed - I am so disappointed.

Any other ideas please?
