Glad you could use your dining credits we also used to like that deal. Millers looks fab. Personally I can’t contemplate paying $$$ for Disney table service when I know I can have several meals offsite for the money (different story on ddp)

I definitely am thinking of dropping at least 3 Disney meals for offsite ones.

Just catching up on your report. It is absolutely Orlando food porn! So many good choices. Teaks is my family’s favourite Orlando restaurant. Such great food for great prices. Would recommend the Idaho burger.

Like you we were desperate to go back to Margaritaville but found it just ok. Definitely wouldn’t rush back.

Thanks for writing such a detailed food report. Have a great holiday!

Great photos! Another one trying to get inside the screen for a taste! The Disney TS restaurants are very good but we are unlikely to do many (if any) as can't justify the additional cost. Don't want to feel nickeled and dimed, free DDP spoilt so many of us.

Thank you for reading. Teak is still right at the top for me

Definitely. We had free dining 4 times and it’s hard to justify the extra expense. I’m just going to see when we arrive at Disney later this week.

Today Cafe Breakfast Snacks

Once we entered Universal Studios we decided to grab a snack before hitting the rides. It has a nice selection.

Lily went fo Nutella Puff(pronounced New tella here)

Kelly had a big standard chocolate croissant but they did warm it.

I got a cinnamon roll.

Evie got some overnight oats.

$21.89.

Mel’s Drive In Diner

Being exciting and doing the laundry so updating today!

For lunch we thought we’d give Mel’s a go. We haven’t done this for a few years so we were happy to give this another try.

It was pretty quiet inside and we got a table with no trouble at all. That’s something I have to point out we’ve had no trouble getting food or tables at any place in Universal so far.

The ladies weren’t very imaginative, all getting the same thing which was a bacon cheeseburger combo meal which came with fries and a shake. Kelly and Lily both went for chocolate and Evie went for vanilla. They all enjoyed their meals but the milkshakes are easier to be eaten with a spoon rather than drinking with a straw!

I went for a barbecue brisket burger which came with an onion ring in it as well. I went for fries but no milkshake. I just used my Coke freestyle cup to get a drink from the machine in there. It was all very nice.

it was all okay for a theme park burger but expensive for what it is.

7 out 10. $75.57

I also got the frozen butterbeer later on. There is no other kind as far as I’m concerned. This is something I do every trip and get a souvenir mug. Pleased to see they have changed the style of the mug again.

$14.75
