Into the final leg of our four weeks away - we've been to Aventura, the Royal Pacific, Caribbean Beach and the Yacht Club.

Yesterday we arrived at a Dibb villa for the last five nights of this trip and I went out to run for the 926th day in a row. Typically these runs, when out in a villa, are quite dull affairs as there's limited pavements in some places which often sees me plod up and down alongside a main road, such as the US 27.

Imagine my delight, on this morning's 8-mile run, to happen across a beautiful serene lake where I could stop and take in the wonderful view for a couple of minutes before continuing.

Looking it up on a map tells me it is "Old Lake Davenport" for those familiar with the area. I shall be back there tomorrow morning for sure!

At dh cousins wedding today at Kelburn Park near Largs in Scotland. What a stunning day and fantastic venue.

Sandra if we could always have the weather here in most of Scotland right now we’d not need to go anywhere else in the world

I love Loch Awe, I pass it a couple of times a year going to Oban for work.
We had a lot of midges last night, thank goodness someone brought spray with them 😀.

I have to say that the sunsets over the west coast are just beautiful.

Some great photos over the last few days. Sorry to bring the tone down from lovely views to food! Foolishly decided this morning was a good time to turn the oven on, as though I couldn't get any hotter. I was wrong, I was baking literally lol
