Charlie' first passport has arrived!
So an exciting day yesterday... Charlie's first passport arrived! He can now officially travel outside of the UK! (I'm not sure he quite understands the importance of such an item and instead instantly put it in his mouth... don't panic, I took it off him pretty quickly!)
I just wish I looked as cute as this in my passport photo... We head to Menorca next month so it's a relief it is here in plenty of time for that! We also had a first try at baby wearing this weekend as I have borrowed my sisters Ergobaby carrier. I am thinking this may be very useful for queues when we won't have the buggy... Charlie is a rather wriggly baby so any way to hold him securely and comfortably will be invaluable! And luckily he seemed to like it! The shopping for this trip has begun but I will save that for another post in the near future! Edited at 11:37 AM. |

Ahhh! Charlie does indeed look like you in the passport photo.
Loving how happy he looks strapped on like that. Important to leave hands free for managing wine - I mean burgers - wait, no, luggage. Yes. Luggage |

Ah so many people say how much he looks like me, poor little man! So excited to share the trip with you!
Having hands-free is indeed vital for luggage. Definitely luggage. Not for eating ice-cream and sipping cocktails... |

Love Charlie’s passport photo! Wee cutie! Babies just put everything in their mouths 😂
Looks like the baby carrier is a hit! He looks pretty chuffed in there! Are you taking a buggy (stroller) too? Xxx |

Oh we will definitely be taking a buggy too... essential for naps and throwing all the bags and shopping underneath! The carrier will be more for queues when he can't be in the buggy... Charlie is quite the wriggler as you know, I'm hoping it will restrain him! xxx

Aww Charlie is super cute! Did you find a new buggy. I just bought the joie litetrax 3,. From argos. We are going to Majorca in a few weeks our little one will be 12 weeks and its ideal! Baby carriers are excellent for the time you get off flight till you reach baggage/buggy reclaim x

I think we have decided on a M&P one but am going to look this Joie one up now as we haven't bought it yet so still open to others! Thanks for the recommendation!
Yes we are definitely going to take the carrier with us when we go to Menorca next month, exactly for that period of time when we get off the plane and have no buggy... thinking it will be much easier as will allow hands to be free for carrying hand luggage! It's a whole new world preparing to travel with a little one! |

I've been doing major buggy research,. YouTube ect lol! Palma airport is massive I didnt take carrier a few years ago and it was a killer,. Wee guy was asleep and a ton weight! Though I would recommend taking buggy right to the gate,..even it its simply for the fact it goes on last and gets less squished! X

Thanks for the tip! Definitely planning on taking the buggy as far as we possibly can... Charlie is such a wriggler, unless he is strapped into something he is near impossible to contain!
