A magical time on board the magic: Debarkation day and Warner Brothers Studio Tour
Debarkation Day and Warner Brothers Studio Tour
Monday 27th September 2021 Breakfast at Rapunzel’s Royal Table, Disembarking the ship, driving to Warner Brothers Studio Tour, Lunch, Driving Home Our allocated restaurant for breakfast on debarkation day was Rapunzel’s. We had decided to take our own bags off the ship rather than leave them out the night before, so we made sure everything was packed before we left the room and then wheeled them down to the lifts to go downstairs. Our reservation was for 7:15am and we were there slightly early and the doors were still shut so we waited in the promenade lounge for a short while. When the time came, we were one of the first ones to arrive as all the servers were lined up at the entrance ready to greet everyone. We left our luggage at the entrance of the restaurant and were shown to our table. To start we had some pastries to share Andy and I had the Route 66, which was Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Grilled Sausage, Grilled Ham, and Hash Browns Immy had the Chef’s Farewell (open faced omelet topped with Barbecued Chicken, Green Peppers, Onions, and melted Swiss Cheese) Izzy had some fruit, coco pops and toast with butter and jam. Cute view and lovely decoration around the porthole The breakfast was really tasty and set us up for the day. After breakfast we collected our bags and made our way to the exit where they scanned out KTTW cards one by one to disembark. A few kids were in school uniform ready to head straight to school. If we were close enough we probably would have done the same but we were a good 4 hr drive from home so it made sense to do something on the way home. Leaving the magic Bag collection point Disembarkation was really simple and smooth - the only downside (apart from the fact we were leaving the Disney Magic!) was that it was absolutely hammering it down and we got soaked getting back to our car. Heaters on full blast, we set up the sat nav to take us to Warner Brothers Studio Tour and joined the M25 traffic! Thankfully we had just missed the protesters and made it in pretty good time. Immy’s fave <3 We loved how they had decorated the Great Hall for halloween with these bobbing pumpkins. Costumes! There were hidden golden snitches you had to spot around the tour and also an embossing stamp to collect from each area in a little book, which was really fun. Edited at 03:03 PM. |

Tri Wizard Cup Forced perspective Collecting stamps Umbridge costumes We loved the dark forest section Platform 9 3/4 Halfway through the tour we stopped for lunch, we got a burger, hot dog meal and a chicken burger meal as well as a butterbeer in a souvenir tankard and some diet coke. We also had butterbeer ice cream for dessert in souvenir tumblers. It was all pretty good but pricey. I much prefer the frozen butter beer at Universal and I think the ice cream used to have butterscotch swirls, which I preferred. The Knight Bus Me getting off the Disney Cruise… Beep beep! Gringotts The shop here was absolutely brilliant. After the tour we got back on the road and drove home. It was a great way to spend a few hours and made the journey back much more enjoyable! Thank you for reading along on my mini trip report! I’m looking forward to reading everyone's TRs soon from all of you lucky enough to be heading stateside soon! We are really hoping to be able to book our 2022 holiday soon. The prices are astronomical, so I’m trying to do lots of research to hopefully find a bargain and we are trying to decide between Florida (because we miss Orlando so much) or… try to rebook the cancelled 2020 mega trip (Cali and Hawaii) surprisingly prices are better for Cali and Hawaii than Florida, so that’s where we are leaning towards at the moment. Take care everyone xxxx Edited at 02:18 PM. |

Love this! You did the same holiday as us, but in reverse - we went to Warner Bros Studios the day before our cruise in the summer and had the best time (even more so because I was finally starting to believe we might actually get on board the cruise, and we did!)
We had our final breakfast in Rapunzel’s too, and it was the perfect end to a magical trip. Glad you enjoyed your trip too!

We did Warner bros over half term. It was a little busier than that! But isn’t it fantastic. What a great way to end your cruise.
