After an hour and a half wait and $56 spent I was left very disappointed. They are nice and taste good. But I think I was expecting THE best. IMO Ben's Cookies in the UK are far superior (if anyone has ever had those). The Minnie's bakery Cookies disney world used to sell in the confectionery and resorts (the ones individually packaged) are also far superior IMO.

Definitely worth a try if not just for the cool experience in the shop. But don't buy $56 worth like I did expecting amazing things.
Oh Ben's cookies are absolutely the best!

I've been curious to try Gideon's but I won't be spending any holiday time waiting in line for a cookie I'm afraid, also my opinion of US desserts is that they generally look great yet taste.. ok at best.

Ohh we love Gideon's - their night time coffee cake cookie is absolutely delicious. I'm not a fan of coffee at all but it's the perfect balance of sweet and rich. Love it.

The best tip we ever had about Gideon's cookies is to not eat them in the Florida sunshine. If you can wait, get them back to your villa or hotel and let them stabilise around room temperature. If they're melting when you eat them then the chocolate dominates all of the other flavours. We found them to be a lovely treat once we'd got our toddler to bed, sitting with a glass of wine, a hunk of Gideon's cookie and the park maps to plan out our next day. Blissful.
