Calling bakers for advice

My mum is after a mixer for cake making and potentially dough making. No budget, but she wants one that will be easy to use and has longevity
Thank you

I think Kitchen Aid 100% if there's no budget 😊

I have a Kitchen Aid and I'm a Baker. It's lasted me 20+ years so far. Well worth the money.

Lol. If money is no object the biggest and best for me as I use it a lot.
They do take up room and there seems to be 2 types now. Tilt head and bowl lift. I'd choose bowl lift, personally.

I was a Kitchen Aid girl but mine packed up (after 10 years so it did it’s job!) and a friend who works for Kenwood talked me into the XL Pattisiere.
I really like it. I much prefer it to the Kitchen Aid although it’s not as stylish. It comes with 2 different sized bowls which is really handy. There are features I neither need nor want but I’m sure some clearly do use these.
Highly recommend. Some reviews might mention an issue with scales but this was all resolved before I got mine.

I still love Kitchen Aids but mine was one of the last of the US made ones. My sister has bought one recently and the build quality really isn’t the same

I bought a Kenwood Kmix in 2014 - remember it was on sale at John Lewis which swayed my decision to get it over the Kitchenaid as there was a massive price difference between the two.

So far it's still going strong, though I don't bake nearly as much as I used to so it doesn't get used as heavily as before.

Another vote for Kenwood KMix, we've had ours for years and no issues.

I have a Kenwood KMix too. I bought it from Costco online.

I made my decision based on this...
