Hotels near Disneyland Paris

We are frequent visitors to WDW in Orlando and always stay in Disney Deluxe resorts.

We visited DLP in August 2020 and we stayed in Newport Bay Club as the price including tickets seemed reasonable at the time of booking. I had first stayed there in 1992.

Our experience of the resort (hotel) was terrible, the hotel is so run down, the service was awful. We now have complimentary park tickets to use and therefore it makes sense to book a non-Disney hotel.

I have looked at the Partner Hotel options and none of them look very good. Reading reviews of bed bugs in Radisson Blu. The others seem equally unappealing. The Ibis looks like a prison cell! I'm surprised at how poor the selection and quality of hotels near DLP is (both on property and off property).

It looks like the best options may be Relais Spa Val d'Europe and Hôtel l'Elysée Val d'Europe?

Does anyone have any thoughts or advice?

I would recommend the Art of Marvel hotel, utterly superb.

Thanks - the price is so high though (£700 per night).

I'm just needing somewhere nice at £200 per night.

I stayed twice at the Relais a number of years ago and would happily go back.

Elysee will be pretty nice and just one stop on the RER. I prefer to be somewhere I can get to and from without relying on shuttles.

The Ibis is fine although very basic. Mostly we just want somewhere to sleep when offsite, we aren’t looking for luxury.

I booked the Relais Spa Val d'Europe.

A Junior Suite was £180 per night for 2 adults and 3 kids.

Disney Hotels in Paris seem very expensive for what they offer. Disney's Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel was more than four times the price for a standard room!

It looks like this hotel is 5 minutes from DLP gates and has minibus transport to the park entrance.

Does anyone else have any experience with the hotel?

We’ve stayed here a couple of times and loved it! I think we had the same room type as you and thought they were great - loads of space, with 2 bathrooms plus a kitchen area. The minibus runs often to the parks (and you can call when you want to be picked up) and you’re a short walk from the station and shops of Val d’Europe itself. I’d go back there in a heartbeat.

We had 3 nights at the Art of Marvel last November for £700 total (two adults, annual pass rate). Phenomenal hotel but I certainly wouldn’t pay more than that for anywhere. Usually for DLP we pay peanuts for somewhere basic as we hardly spend any time in the room.

We are headed to the Relais Spa on Sunday for four nights. Last year we stayed at the Marvel/NY Hotel and it was amazing but we also refuse to pay £700/night this year when we can get a suite at the Relais for a fraction of that. Will report back

Just booked the L'Elysee at Val D'Europe for March. We need 2 rooms due to the party size and just couldn't justify the price difference. We stayed threre about 10 years ago and getting to and from the park was very easy.
