Is everywhere still taking cash?

Going next month & wondering does everywhere still take cash? My teens will have about €200 each as they get 100 each from grandparents so wondering if that’ll be ok? They’ll be buying treats, crepes etc & souvenirs.

Yep. We were there a couple of weeks ago and our teens also had cash. No problems spending it anywhere.

I’m hoping for the opposite and that they will mostly take credit card- cash is just something else for me to lose 😂

I’ll be using my card or charging to the room, but my teens will have theirs in cash! Obviously I’ll be paying their meals etc I’ll have euros to pay the taxi there & back tho!

And they took card absolutely everywhere - even the small stalls for small amounts

I can confirm this. We have just returned and used card everywhere.

I took a few hundred Euros in case cash was needed for bottles of water etc. at the small carts but everywhere accepted card so they were not needed.

Likewise, we went in May half term. We took no cash and never handled any the entire trip: everything went on credit card.
