Tokyo Disney - What Stopping You?

Perhaps you fancy going to this amazing park, and amazing country - but things like food, language or other doubts are perhaps putting you off?

Well ask them here and lets see if we can explain them away so you perhaps want to plan a trip when its boarders reopen to tourists

I have only been once and was in Tokyo all the time - bar a day trip on bullet train to Kyoto to see the old temples etc. - but others on here have explored more of Japan than I did.

Money!

We saved up for a trip in November 2020 which still hasn’t happened. We also booked a cheap 7 day WDW trip for Jan 2022 as a backup, which was postponed thanks to US restrictions and has now turned into a full-on 14 day Disney/Universal trip this November. So we will have to start the Japan fund again!

I am not wanting to do a tour. The money is saved and I just need to be patient!

We sound like we are in the same place - open those boarders to let normal tourists in please!

For anyone else (bar money of course!) anything else stopping you going we may be able to tell you, will not be bad?

Border controls

we had planned a 25th Anniversary trip to Tokyo & Osaka but these plans have been shelved due to ongoing uncertainty

We are in the very early stages of planning a trip ( ie decided it's somewhere we would both like to go)
but we have very different ideas of what we would want to do.
I absolutely want to incorporate Disney- he absolutely doesn't.
The other main issue is cost - especially as he would not want to fly economy (cos he's 6'3" and built like a barn door)

We want to do a land based tour with Disney and universal thrown in , the bullet train and a cruise so it wont be cheap , but we will only do it once. I keep looking for a good deal
