Highline New York

Is it worth doing basically ? 😬
My travel books say it’s a highlight/ must do , I’ve watched it on YouTube too but I wasn’t overwhelmed lol, is it better in person ? Thanks.

Artwork, live music, food. It's a pleasant evening stroll

We loved walking the Highline
It’s great for seeing NY from a different angle & has many places to sit & watch the world go by

It’s my DH must do again if we go back. We walked the length of it, and you do get a different aspect to the streets below. And it’s free. If you have time I would say do it. MoMa (Modern Art Museum) is near one end but was too big a queue when we were there otherwise we would have done that as well.
Have a great trip!

Yes, lovely stroll with Chelsea market at the end, plus some lovely restaurants - Bubby's, Clinton Street pancakes, Jacks's Wife Frieda etc. and Van Leeuwen Ice Cream which is soooo good.

Definitely worth doing, lots to see, plenty of seating to people watch, seeing the streets from a very different aspect and it's free
