Tagging buggy as a wheelchair
My son has a disability buggy, we’re hoping to keep it until the gate and then have it returned to the gate ready for us getting off.
I’ve been told that I need to have the buggy tagged as a wheelchair to allow this to happen. That’s not a problem in itself however the buggy folds down into pieces so we have a travel bag for it so everything stays together. My question is - do I need to make sure I get the bag tagged at check in to make sure the handlers know it contains a wheelchair and needs to come back to the gate. Secondly will I have chance to be able to fold the buggy down at the gate and put it in the bag? First time travelling with the buggy etc so just trying to get it straight in my head how everything works. Thanks |
