We will be sending a stern email today. If no reply then we will ring them tomorrow. As they are based on the US it’s a pain 😫

Well it’s now almost 3 weeks and we have still not received our deposits back! We are absolutely disgusting, gone beyond the point of disappointment.
This management company have $1452 of our money and no villa! We are waiting for this money to be returned so that we can re book for 2020 & 2021
Deposits are for 2 bookings, 3 weeks each in 2020 & 2021
We can not get hold of anyone and our emails are being ignored. The last corespondents from them was to say that only the MC owner can issue refunds.
We certainly will not be using this MC again

Something I don't quite understand here (it may be just a 'senile moment'). If you've paid deposits to the MC and continue with the booking how can they then accept your final balance later on, when they're not employed by the owner anymore? Surely in this case they cannot continue to offer you this villa and you are therefor perfectly entitled to a refund of monies paid. As for bank fees, I'm afraid you can forget that as it's up to you where you bank and not an MC's problem (certain banks don't charge fees (eg Halifax Clarity). You will also lose on the currency switch both ways as well. I'm always happier dealing with a UK owner if poss.

We know we have lost the bank transfer fee’s (I think it’s about £60 in total we have lost)
We are just really annoyed and frustrated that they have our money $1452 and seem reluctant to pay it back.
We will definitely be happier dealing with UK owners in the future

Well we have just received an email from the MC to say (again) that only the owner of the MC can issue refunds and unfortunately he is very busy at the moment finishing a property that’s on a dead line.
What a joke!
