1 Day at Disneyland

We are going to California next year and doing LA,Grand Canyon,Las Vegas and SF and some other stops along the way

We are spending 2 days in LA area and spending one day doing hollywood etc but my DD wants to disneyland on her birthday

we are only doing it 4 the day so what would advise for the top things to see at Disneyland- we did walt disney world last year so is there any rides at disneyland that are not at WDW

Pirates of the Caribbean is a longer ,slightly different ride, Indiana Jones is exclusive to Anaheim. Space mountain has different seating - side by side instead of one behind the other. Matterhorn bobsleds are Anaheim only - but I wouldn't waste my time on them. To be honest, I'm having a hard time remembering what was at which park, if you have a look at the Anaheim pages in my trippie, we give our opinions on the rides we done.

We do Disneyland Days 10 and 14

We did a similar trip this summer and had 1 day in Disneyland. Didn't bother with California Adventure and we are WDW regulars so in the Disneyland park we looked for differences. First thing to go on should be the Finding Nemo as it's not a fastpass and the lines build up quickly. After that we did a wander about. did POC and Toad's ride (out of nostalgia) The Orleans square bit is different and the river sailing ship. Fantasmic to us was much better than in Florida. Have a great trip

We managed Disneyland and California Adventure in one day last year. The scale of the parks is so much smaller it is doable. At CA we particularly liked California screaming adn teh whole of the Paradise Pier area

We have done this too, either at the start or the end of a holiday. The parks are smaller and either can be done in a day (depending on the time of year you go). We like California Adventure as it is different but we also really enjoy The Disneyland park comparing and contrasting it with Florida, Paris and HK.

We are doing the 2 Disneyland Parks in 1 day, in a couple of days. I will let you know which we think are the best rides and any tips we pick up when we've been.
