Views from rooms

Boardwalk has been one of our better views along with savannah view at AKL!

Our first stay as DVC owners was at the BC. The view was right at the back so trees/road. I was not aware that you were not allowed to change rooms as DVC owners and went to ask to move
I was told that we could move the following day to a pool view but that there would be a charge. I was happy with that as a balcony and a view are VERY important to me. In the end we were not actually charged

I would say we have had poor views since joining DVC apart from BWV.

I don't understand how non DVC can change rooms but DVC owners can't

We were on a DVC stay earlier this year and changed rooms for a better view - there was no problem and no talk of being charged for it?

There is supposed to be a charge as you are causing an extra housekeeping expense (cleaning the room you leave), and it was deemed that this was unfair to other members that this should come out of DVC funds.

This is a disappointing BCV view - 5th floor

I also requested a move - it was a DVC villa but booked on cash AP rate - so no mention of charges to move.
