MCO to MAN via ATL
Hi all, as title suggests we are flying home next year via Atlanta. Our layover time is just short of 2 hours. After looking at Atlanta airport map I am hoping this will be enough time...does anyone who's been through know if we will need to do security again or is it literally from one gate to the next?
Last year we flew via JFK & (having never done it before) we didn't realise because we actually had to exit our arrival terminal to get to the next departure gate in a different terminal we had to do security all over again...we had 3 hours so it turned out to be plenty of time. Hoping Atlanta might be more straight forward?

Plenty of time, we did it with 40 minutes, the crew on the flight from MCO told us what gate we needed when we got off (we didn't ask), we got off flight, down an escalator onto a train, off train onto next plane. No time to look round or anything but no rush.

We went via ATL this summer. Coming back a 2 hour layover will be plenty, we didn't have to do security again.

Did it a few weeks ago with a 58 minute gap and we made it in plenty of time, landed at the domestic terminal and then got the train to the other side of the airport to the international terminal.

We did it last year. We should have had a 3 hour gap, but the plane was late leaving Manchester and by the time we landed we had just under an hour. We made it. We hot footed it through Atlanta and got to the gate, where they had only just started boarding, so were at the back of a long queue to board.

Nothing worse than rushing for nothing still at least you know for future reference you don't need a 3 hours layover Thanks for sharing x

We're going man to mco via Atlanta at the weekend . We have a 3 hour layover . Can I just check Do we get off plane collect luggage do immigration then make our way to the otherside of the airport Or Do we collect luggage after immigration? Also getting to the otherside of Atlanta airport do you have to walk this or is it like mco with shuttle Thanks Ruth xx
