"Real" Universal Tickets
Hi all,
Was just about to book our Universal tickets and noticed they are e-tickets. Nothing wrong with e-tickets, just like to have proper tickets if possible. We've ordered them before from the same company (although not Universal) and been sent real tickets, so was just wondering if it's possible to get them? Anyone any ideas? Sean |

Have you tried ATD? They are normally real tickets?

Hi Charly,
Yes, that's who I have used before however for Hollywood tickets it says - Attraction Tickets Direct will send you a gate ready Universal Studios Hollywood e-ticket not a voucher, ensuring minimum fuss when you arrive at Universal Studios Hollywood. There is nothing to redeem and you simply go straight through the gate on arrival. Whereas for Orlando tickets it says - REAL Universal Ticket not a voucher, ensuring minimum fuss when you arrive at Universal Orlando Resort. There is nothing to redeem and you simply go straight through the gate on arrival Maybe they're not available for Hollywood? Sean |

Oh no, that's a pain...
I like real tickets too as I tend to keep everything and an 'e ticket' just doesn't look right! We'll keep looking! |

Real tickets fit nicely in my wallet and don't get lost or wet too!
Also nice souvenir. Anyone else got ideas? I may have to buy at the gate (although I think that is more expensive), but we're staying over the road and will be in City Walk the night before so could get them then I guess to avoid the queues on the morning we visit. Sean |

Get front of the Line tickets and then you get a lanyard with proper ticket.
Costs more, but you also get more done in a day. |

We've had those e-tickets from ATD before and we just had to scan the bar code on the printout at the entry gate, no extra fuss and I wouldn't have a problem using them again. I did worry before we got them that we may have to go to guest services/will call to exchange them etc.
I know what you're saying though about it being easier having an actual ticket but if it didn't bother someone the e tickets are pretty good. |

Did consider them but can't justify the extra £80.00 plus each as we don't do any of the big rides (wife won't and daughter rarely does).
May just have to go with an e-ticket! Sean |

If you go to Guest Services you can change an e-ticket for a real one.
