We're staying in the Imperial Club Room so have club room access. I believe you can access the club room at any time for certain drinks (soft drinks etc) is this correct?

Also, during the evening access 5-7pm you are served alcohol, does this have to be consumed within the club room or could one of us go for a few drinks to bring back to our room for example? Is there a dress code for the club room during the evening hours?

Thanks
Yes
Yes only in club
No dress code I don’t think

Dress code in many bars and hotels after 6pm/sunset is certainly no shorts, t shirts or sandals for men.

Sometimes no bare shoulders for women but they will give you a shawl if they think you are underdressed - they just turn away men that don’t follow the local custom of dress code .

After a bit more research .. I’m now looking at the Grosvenor House hotel or Le Royal Meridien .. any advice on any of these hotels please?
Or feel free to offer an alternative!

We have never been to Dubai before and only decided last week to give it a try ..

Visited both to eat at both day and night, not too far from each other. Both really lovely but if you chose Le Meridian make sure you book the beach one
If you are still looking see what price you get for Al Naseem

Thanks Collette - Al Naseem is around a £1,000 more than the other 2 .. would you say it was worth it?
If not, what would be your choice between The Grosvenor and Le Meridien?

I appreciate we all have different tastes but I would love your opinion x

Le meridian for me but I’d also be happy with Grosvenor. Are you getting like for like as that would make my choice for me if one had club or half board and the other didn’t.

I’m staying at the Grosvenor house myself in April on the recommendation of my friend who has stayed there several times. It’s her preferred hotel in Dubai.
The Royal Meridian is a sister hotel to the Grosvenor and you can use their facilities and I believe that there is a free shuttle between the two and you can also charge things to your room.

I’m really looking forward to my stay

Thanks again Colette

I’m looking at the following rooms ..
Le Meridien - Club tower room, sea view - half board

Grosvenor House - there is an offer for a 1 bed apartment, half board .. (this is £450 cheaper than Le Meridien) x
