The Royal Meridian is a sister hotel to the Grosvenor and you can use their facilities and I believe that there is a free shuttle between the two and you can also charge things to your room.

I’m really looking forward to my stay
Thank you Cutiepie ..
Thanks for the info, it does look fab!
I hope you have an amazing time x

I’m looking at the following rooms ..
Le Meridien - Club tower room, sea view - half board

Grosvenor House - there is an offer for a 1 bed apartment, half board .. (this is £450 cheaper than Le Meridien) x
I always prefer club if I’m honest. I love them both but Le Meridian just edges it for me. However, £450 is quite a difference

When we couldn’t get into The Residence @Royal Mirage one year (my hotel of choice but would never stay at Palace or Arabian Court) we stayed at Le Meridian and really enjoyed it - found it slightly more of a family hotel (which The Residence is certainly not as aimed for adults only ) but would certainly return . The rooms and staff were lovely and the beach is the beach - good service as being able to summon your butler by pressing a button in the palm tree / sun shade thing

I had decided to book Le Meridien but now having a bit of a wobble!

Will it be too hot in September! - I want to go away in September as it’s our anniversary ..

Will I like Dubai 😊

I’m not usually this indecisive, I don’t know what’s wrong with me 🤷

I’m sure you will love it. It will be hot but plan your days well and you will be fine. Plenty of air con and indoors places around and some pools are chilled when it’s hot. Start researching restaurants and activities- that will get you excited!

I’ve no doubt you’re right Colette ..

I had really wanted to go to the Caribbean but early September is not the ideal time to go!
And I really like going away for our anniversary 😊

As you suggested I’ll research activities, restaurants etc .. see if that gets me excited!
Thanks again for responding, much appreciated x
