We stayed there quite a few years back though. The apartment was superb and the complex great, although the area was a little quiet for my liking.

We visit the area a lot and the views from the Westin are beautiful- we often go down there for a cocktail or a meal and many a time whilst sitting at the Nauti Mermaid outside bar we would watch dolphins jumping up out the water beside us. The hotel is lovely but you need to drive about at least a mile to get to any shops, supermarkets or to get to the bridges to go over to Ft Myers, the beaches etc.
It’s not in the shopping area of Cape Coral but it’s lovely.

We stayed there a few years ago and liked it. Got a good deal on Hotels.com for a one bedroom suite which we thought was of a high standard compared to what we paid. However I didn't like the outdoor corridors because it is such a high building. If that bothered you, you could ask for a low floor. We liked the outdoor bar and we were able to take an evening sunset boat trip to Fort Myers. Agree with above posters that it is out of the way, though.
