A very tragic egg incident

Driving home from a food shop yesterday and as I turned on a bend my entire bag launched across the back seat, sending the shopping everywhere including 12 eggs, which splatted all over the seat, and the floor mat. It was a ‘noooooooooooo’ moment!

Can anyone help with me with way to clean the egg marks off the seat please? (Cloth seats)

Tried fairy liquid and sponge but can still see a mark today.

Need some Dibb counselling.

Try biological washing powder. Make sure theres no bleaching agent in it and maybe do a patch test first.

Don’t use hot water - you’ll end up with scrambled egg.

Louise. As with any car issue I find Meguiars products brilliant. I would try this stuff.

amazon/Meguiars-G9...s%2C137&sr=8-2

Edit. Halfords sell it as well.

Definitely don't use hot water! It cooks the egg. Cold water and washing powder (not liquid) would be my suggestion.

Hi. Not too bad but she is going stir crazy!

Off most of the 18 tablets a day they gave her! Just on blood thinners and Paracetamol now.

I'm struggling though with finishing off the dining room, cooking, doing the washing & ironing and cleaning. Oh and washing her!

Edit
Paperhanger here tomorrow
Electrician on Monday
Plumber for new Rads Weds

So loads of my Mates to chat to.

If after you cleaned it yesterday it seemed to be clean,it maybe a residue from the fairy liquid the bubbles get into the material and then dry leaving a whitish patch,it has happened to me,
try it again with just water and if it froths up,it may need to be done a couple of times with plain water to get soap out

Could have been worse. A friend of my late Mums had a gallon of brown creosote in the back footwell. Fell over and the top came off.

He sold the car a year before he wanted to as it was impossible to get out. I would have changed the carpet.
