Help please with Clarity Card

Arrived yesterday evening and my Halifax Clarity card I have used on previous occasions was declined in Walmart.I have contacted Halifax who advised to try and reset the PIN at an ATM. Any suggestions where I might be able to do this. We are staying near Sherbeth Rd in Kissimmee and I don’t want to use my Barclays Debit card unless I have to for purchases.

Did Walmart ask you to enter a pin? I know they have the machines now, but never had to enter a pin, thought they still used magstripe…..but, just in case... clean both the magstrip and the chip and try it again... sorry, don't know where any atm's are

Thanks...I’ve just tried to use ATM inside Walmart but there’s no facility to change your pin I think I need a ‘proper’ bank to sort it...appreciate the advice

There is suntrust bank at celebration. Not sure if they can help but at least you could speak to a person . They also have atm outside x hth

There is a 5th3rd bank right by Culvers at the end of 192 West if you are travelling that way. It does have an ATM as well.

Thanks...I was directed to Partner Bank (Disney Employee BanK) unfortunately I was unable to change the pin. So have no choice but to use my debit card and withdraw cash. I’ll be taking it up with Halifax when I return.

The issue last year was the cards being swiped and declined.

Was it swiped at Walmart?
The fix last year seemed to be insist on using the chip and pin to pay for something then all transactions should start going through.
