Dining Reservations

Hi Everyone.

Everything has changed since our last visit 8 years ago.

Our 180 days for dining reservations is tomorrow. I just wanted to check how it works with booking the first 10 days of our holiday tomorrow.

As currently I can go on MDE and view upto 11/08 - our first day is 12/08 - how do the next 10 days show up? Do I need to do anything further or will they just magically appear tomorrow?

I don't (can't!) want to get it wrong as we are getting married whilst over there, so need to book the restaurant for THE big day (Yachtsman).

It just opens as if by magic at 11am on the day - you can book check in day + the following 10 days. Enjoy Yachtsman, we always have.

Mine was today , wouldn’t work straight away I had to ring up at 12 , although the person couldn’t seem to book restaurantasaurus for me but when I hung up it worked online so hit or miss ! The dates I booked were just highlighted and you could click in and out of each day

The window will magically open up for onsite guests when they reach the 180 day booking point. There is no sign of it before the magic time of 11am.

However be aware that MDE has been extremely glitchy for the last week or so and lots of people have been having trouble and have needed to phone. It has always been a touchy glitchy my +10 booking window has only shown up on the app for the last two years but never on the website / laptop.

You will not have any trouble getting the Yachtsman, it is a lovely restaurant but it does not get booked out quickly.

Some restaurants are glitchy at 180 +10 days, le Cellier was like that. Maybe ring to put our mind at ease.

Fixed it. I had to phone the web helpdesk.

I had a 'blank' character of me, and a personalised character of me - thats how Disney had set it up - the blank was the 'owner' the personalised was a guest.

They had to delete the blank version which fixed the problem. Guessing here, but guess the blank character wasnt assigned a hotel/ticket so hence no 180+10 days?
