Mobile Restaurant Advice for young family

Hi

We're planning on taking our 2 young kids (5 and 2) for the first time, and planning on having the regular Dining Plan. We're planning on restaurants such as Crystal Palace, Ohana and Chef Mickeys, but we have 14 meals to book! We would usually do Le Cellier and Flying Fish but probably not the best for young kids so we're looking for any family friendly kids ones!

We took ours to The Flying Fish, California Grill and The Yachtsman Steakhouse and one at The Grand Floridian, it’s round? Can’t remember the name, when they were a similar age. All of them catered for the children really well. California Grill pretended the kids set the fireworks off in the Magic Kingdom and in The Steakhouse they get to paint a chocolate Mickey jigsaw. I would say book where you like - loads of people take little children to eat in restaurants there. Have a great time

I would say the same. They will love the character meals as did ours when they were 18 months and almost 4 last time. We also had a great time in The Yachtsman where the server was fantastic with the kids.
Ours will be 5 and a half and 3 when we return and we have booked CG, Narcoosees, Tiffins and Yachtsman,

Only you know your kids. I would have taken my eldest anywhere at that age, he’s always been nice and quiet and compliant. I would never take my youngest somewhere nice; face of an angel, mind of the devil and voice like a fog horn!

Generally though it’s Disney there are children everywhere. Take your kids wherever you want to eat, they will be welcome anyway (well not V&A)

Character dining is great with little ones. However they are mainly buffets and you will probably be glad of a few meals where you can just sit down, relax and be waited on. You can't go far wrong really - have a look at the Menus on the Disney site and see what appeals!
