Int Drive Suite Reccomendations

Hello,

I'm currently planning a honeymoon trip for May 2023 and we've decided we'd prefer a suite rather than a standard double room. Staying for 2 weeks and want to stay on International Drive, not doing Disney only Universal.

Will be looking to eat out most nights either in Universal, Disney Springs or on Int Drive. We won't be driving.

Have looked at 3 options so far - Homewood Suites, Holiday Inn opposite Universal and StaySky Suites. Has anyone got any recommendations of the 3 on which will be best for location and getting around Int Drive for food/shopping?

Also Holiday Inn is so close to Universal would we be able to walk there each day?

Thanks in advance! Been to Florida many times but only with my family and we always stayed in a villa so first time arranging this myself!

Another one to look at is Sonesta ES Suites. Right opposite Icon Park. Loads of great restaurants within walking distance. Have stayed there and would highly recommend.

We've stayed at the Homewood Suites although it was several years ago and we loved it. Great breakfast and also happy hour each evening! The suites were really spacious with great facilities.

Definitely in the Sonesta Suites corner .
We had a great stay back in 2015 , friendly staff, clean and spacious. The pool area is small but lovely during the day as everyone are out at the parks
Fab restaurants all in walking distance too. We love the Pirates Cove Golf which is close by , lovely in evening when it’s cooled down

We stayed at the Sonesta on our trip last month.

The location, staff and communal areas were great, but we weren't all that impressed by the suite itself. We felt they could do with a refurb, or at least some new furniture. It all felt a bit cheap and tired.

We also found the suite to be quite dark. The main bedroom needed the light on all the time.

I think there's am Embassy Suites on International drive. We've used them many times when in Florida they are usually a good standard of accommodation with well equipped suites, free breakfast etc.
