We've done TE twice & enjoyed it but in our opinion the Kobe is far better! The shows are about the same but no "Baby Shamu" can't be pushing the competition! The main difference is the food, I just think that the Kobe is better taste wise & a couple of minor differences in what you get.
We've been to the Kobe every trip since 1992. SD

We love Teppan Edo but it is probably cheaper at Kobe. Great food and an amazing dinner show, we love it!

It is a bit more than that now although they do have an early bird menu. I think it ends at 6 and you definitely have to ask for it.

Okay, so Kobe not quite the value I remember, $190 for the three of us tonight, that's with an 18% gratuity automatically added to the bill. We threw down extra dollars to take it well above 20%, because, frankly, it was a cracking meal.
Would have to check against Tepan Edo prices, but I'd wager Kobe still beats it for value, but maybe not quite as much as in years gone by. I'll caveat that by saying everything's significantly more expensive along I-Drive than our last visit, even Walgreen's. Would still recommend Kobe though, was a fantastic meal tonight... Filet Mignon was absolutely superb. |

Just checked Tappan Edo and it’s about $10 more per entrée.
That seems a whole lot more expensive than our last visit. |
