Interestingly, I watched a youtube video about ADHD and one of the traits noted was procrastination. It is as if the urgency of the task has to be so imminent that it can't be put off any longer and therefore gets your full attention. It seems a resonable theory.

However, I can procrastinate for England and don't have anyother ADHD traits(well none I've noticed.)

I have had an official form sitting on my desk for 3 weeks now. Needs to be submitted by the end of next week ... maybe I'll do it tomorrow ...

I do this every single year! I’m a bit ahead of the game this year though, but the fact it gets to November each year and I’ve not tackled it stresses me out!

I hate the thought of doing it more than doing it!

For me it’s my grass. I know I should give it a last trim, it grown too long even in November but I’ve waited three weeks now and I keep swearing today’s the day. Oh and why is it still bloody growing in November, global flipping warming that’s why. I’ll be doing it Christmas Day this rate.

I've had 18 months to do a 10k essay for my cii exam. I'm now 2 weeks until the deadline and haven't written anything.

Picked up the switch yesterday and started playing animal crossing instead. Fml

Put it on a list and you've got to do it. ITS THE LAW!
The satisfaction of crossing things out you've done is unrivalled!

And the first job on a to do list should always be 'make to do list' so you can cross one off right away.

I had to prepare a teaching and learning session on direct and indirect discrimination, the prevent strategy and prevent for Estyn inspection tomorrow. I only had 5 days notice that I was the "victim" they are visiting but did i use these 5 days well ? Of course not !
I just ate my frog and finished the lesson plan. In fact the frog turned into a big fat Toad as it took longer than I thought !
I think i need to start by planning to eat the frogs while they are just tadpoles !

Oh FF5 - first email this morning is from the accountant...
Just a reminder that I will need to submit the VAT return very soon (it’s in my diary for Wednesday) but I note that FreeAgent isn’t up to date. Can you do the necessary asap please? The deadline is 7 Dec so just let me know if you need more time.
...checking back, he first emailed me about this a month ago.
