Possible New Discount

Not sure if this is actually new, or if I'm just late to the party, but today I went and re-priced my January stay at the Grand Californian (booked in October) and it was a fair chunk cheaper, with a 'Magical New Year Getaway Room Offer' discount applied. Called and had the difference refunded. Something to check if anyone else has early 2022 bookings!

Edit: I see someone already mentioned it a couple of days ago on the Grand Californian thread, but I'll leave this here in case it makes anyone else aware, it does seem to be on all the hotels.

Yes it was me that mentioned it as I noticed the same when I went to change the date of my stay.

Can I ask how easy you find it to get through on the phone, what day/ time you rang, what number etc? I have tried a couple of times and cannot get through, very long wait times.

I made a new booking with my new dates in the end but need to keep trying to get through in order to get the original booking refunded.

I rang yesterday at about 7pm UK time on the 714 520 5060 number (using skype to go). Total call time was 45 minutes so about the first 40 of that was on hold. Not quick but not the worst I've had either
